Climbing and trekking. Nothing else.

Two disciplines, twenty-three years, one range. We put the rope, the crampons and the ice axe in your hands, and a certified Bolivian mountain guide on the other end of it.

01 — Specialities

We are not a
general agency.

Most operators in La Paz resell whatever you ask for. We do two things, and we own the equipment for both — which is why the guide on your rope has used it before and knows it fits.

Speciality 01

High-altitude climbing

Sixteen graded ascents from 5,230 m to 6,542 m. Glacier travel, fixed rope, crevasse rescue — and a summit push that starts at one in the morning.

Speciality 02

Multi-day trekking

Sixteen traverses from three to eighteen days. Mules carry the load, a cook feeds the camp, and you walk a pass every morning with a daypack.

01b — Beyond the rope

That is the speciality.
We also run these.

Twenty-three years working one country teaches you the rest of it. When a group wants a rest week between summits, or arrives with family who are not climbing, these are ours too — run by the same office, with the same guides.

02 — The gear

You do not have to
fly with a rope.

Technical equipment is heavy, expensive and awkward to check in. Ours is included, maintained in La Paz, and fitted to you at the office before you leave the city — not handed over at the trailhead.

03 — Routes

Fifty routes,
ranked by altitude.

04 — Altitude

Do not fly in
and climb.

La Paz sits at 3,640 m — higher than any summit in the Alps. Altitude sickness ends more attempts than weather or technique. This is the progression we put people on, built from our own routes.

05 — Guest book

Fifteen pages
we did not write.

Cost depends on the group, the season and the route. Rather than post a number we cannot honour, we quote properly — usually within 24 hours, in your currency, with the exclusions written down.
